Why are our tights so durable?

Wearing ultra-resistant tights is good, but knowing why they are so is even better...

Today we reveal the key elements of our products' resistance!

Our thread, the strongest of the strong

Our yarn is actually made of two twisted threads: elastane, for elasticity, and a specific rare polyamide, for strength. This polyamide itself is made of several strands of intertwined threads, making it even more resistant.

Elastane is the core yarn on which the polyamide is wound, as in the image below:

This technique makes our tights as elastic as they are durable!

Our reinforcements: goodbye to snags in your tights

If you're used to wearing them, you probably won't dispute the fact that if there's one place where classic tights get holes (almost) every time, it's on the feet! That's why we decided to add reinforcements around the feet to all our products.

Result: no more using clear varnish to repair torn tights (yes, yes, we know you've already tried this technique).

Our knitting

The final step to having ultra-resistant tights: a worthy knit.

Our products are partly handmade, with over 9 manufacturing steps. They are made in France in one of the last family hosiery factories with a wealth of historical expertise: our production workshop has made tights for the biggest luxury brands...

They are also hand checked once manufactured.
